Great first experience in ryokan. Onsen was great, and rooms were comfortable. Meal option were worth it, making experience interesting. Staff were wonderful

Everything! It was a beautiful waterfront property. The Onsen was lovely, the food was superb. And, the staff really went above & beyond.to make everything special for us. Also, we were on our bikes, which they helped us load up in the morning, & provided a breakfast to go. This seems typical in many hotels we've stayed at in Japan.no where to hang our towels

The location is exceptional with a beautiful view of the sea and sandy beach from your room. It’s a very good fish restaurant as well and the included meals were delicious. The Onsen was exceptional being separate from the hotel with views over the sea. They took care to translate key information ( like how to operate the air con ) showing an attention to detail. Authentic Japanese lodging with a European‑style bed; both dinner and breakfast were true Japanese fare, delicious and enjoyable, and the area is ideal for a bike stopover.
