The rustic décor, cleanliness, and excellent breakfast were highlights. Inside the bathroom there are no loungers, making it very Spartan. The hotel has no restaurant; food is only available outside in the town of Oberstaufen. The parking lot was totally overcrowded, so I had to park a short distance further for a fee even though I had a confirmed spot.

The breakfast was great, and it was a good idea to offer a complimentary drink at the bar when you skip cleaning. The wellness area was nice. The only downside was that there was no half‑board option, only a bistro menu.
