When we checked in at 12:30 AM the place looked okay, but the bathroom was a nightmare: the toilet was covered in urine stains, pubic hairs, and a little feces the size of a penny; there were also three long black hairs in the tub, dead bugs and rat droppings on the floor, and the whole room was dusty or sticky. The fridge and freezer still held leftover food from previous guests, and dead fruit flies and fleas were perched on the back of the only chair. The air conditioner unit and its corner were piled with alive and dead ants, and behind the coach there were more. The only redeeming feature was the bed, which was comfortable and clean. I would never stay here again or recommend it.

The place was within walking distance of food, had a nice kitchen area, was spacious, and the check‑in was easy. Lisa was pleasant and helpful. The traffic outside and the noise from other patrons were annoying. There was no TV in the bedroom, the shower curtain was grimy, and I had to move couch cushions to find a fallen key, which I regretted.

I appreciated the self‑check‑in with a code sent by text and the same simple process for check‑out. The room had a full‑size fridge and kitchen for cooking. I didn’t like that there was no TV in the bedroom, only a hook‑up that was located in the kitchen/sofa area. Also, the unit lacked smoke detectors and sprinklers, which is risky since all the rooms have stoves or ovens.

The area was decent for the price. The first thing that hit me when I walked into the room was a mildew smell. The room itself was run‑down, the fridge was dirty, and the carpet was so dirty that my socks came out dirty. If I had stayed more than one night I would have called the office. We were in town for a concert in State College and just needed a place to sleep. I definitely won’t stay here again and would pay more for a better hotel.

“our accomodations were clean, air conditioning was a neccesity and beds comfortable. necessity, beds”

The room was updated, the beds were comfortable, it was quiet, and the location and staff were very helpful, but there were no silverware or plates provided.
