Inn On The Coast

The hotel is nice and has a lovely lobby where you can relax, have a drink and read a book. It’s popular with guests, in fact. The restaurant with the hotel (The Salty Cow) is excellent. We ate there most nights. Their best dish, in our opinion, was the seafood chowder, the best we’ve ever had (including that of the Bedford hotel, which was subpar next to this one). The staff are friendly but professional. The room was noisy. You could hear the bathroom extractor when the people in the room next door showered or used the bathroom. The fire doors could also be heard closing shut every time. Our room was close to two fire doors, which was a problem to sleep.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits conveniently on Coast road. It’s close to the road, but I didn’t find it too noisy.

“Clean, comfortable and friendly.”

This was the only hotel on our trip that had no parking issues; we stayed in a large, clean, and comfortable room and slept very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s public areas and rooms had recently been redecorated with a fresh, contemporary look. We only dined at the Bistro in the evenings (not breakfast), and the food and service were very good. The atmosphere felt more business‑travel than holiday, which is the only downside.

“Tranquila e confortável”

Apartamento espaçoso, muito tranquilo e confortável. Apesar de o alojamento ser pet friendly estava limpo e os funcionários foram simpáticos. Pequeno almoço podia ter mais variedade
