Super location, 30 minutes on foot to the Colosseum. Very pleasant owner, clean, tidy, comfortable and large bed. We are very satisfied with our stay!

The place isn’t right in the city centre, but it’s spot‑on for buses, restaurants and other conveniences. The room matched the photos exactly, and Andrea was always quick to reply, helpful, and eager to give tips. The neighbourhood is lovely, far from Rome’s usual tourist crowds. The only downside was that there was just one pillow per person, which felt odd since most places give two or three. The real issue that cost me points is something I can’t wrap my head around: this is my third Rome visit, my 16th stay in Italy, yet I’m the first to hear that “cooking or preparing food is prohibited by law and subject to a fine.” I checked the Italian rules myself and found nothing to back that up. Every morning I need to make oatmeal with a supplement for health reasons, so I had to go to a nearby café and pay someone to cook it for me. The listing advertised a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, so I assumed guests could use it, but I was told cooking was illegal. This is the only place I’ve encountered this, and the listing should clearly state that cooking isn’t allowed, especially when a kitchen is shown.

The spot is close to public transport and within walking distance of interesting sights, but the accommodation is very basic.

The hotel is close to the metro, just a 10‑minute walk. The area is quiet, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended!
