Everything was beautifully done and homely, with a ground‑floor lounge stocked with fruit, crisps, tea, and fridge drinks, plus antique‑style furniture that made each room feel bespoke. I stayed for a nearby party, could walk into town easily, liked the bench outside while waiting for my early taxi, and the host was brilliant, communicative, helped me book a taxi, called to say my room was ready early, and made self‑check‑in relaxed and easy. Honestly, nothing was wrong; my stay matched exactly what I expected.

The location was great for walking around Stamford. The quirky property was lovely! Gemma was very friendly and left goodies like crisps, Prosecco, milk, biscuits, and fruit, which was very generous. The only improvement would be to provide a toaster, microwave, bowls, plates, and cutlery so guests could make their own breakfast in the cottage instead of going out.

The room was gorgeous, spotless, and the host was very generous; the dining area offered snacks, beers, wine, prosecco, and spirits, plus a biscuit pack and good toiletries in the room—all for a reasonable nightly rate. The space felt a bit cramped because of the large furniture, making it tricky to move around, but overall the room was beautiful and super clean.
