The Ramón Berenguer IV hotel is located in Lleida's commercial centre, opposite the train station and AVE terminal. Situated on Rambla Ferran, it is close to the shopping centre, trade fair and exhibition centre, and Parque de Río Segre. The hotel is handy for trains and buses, and the room is clean though very basic with a 1970s feel, and the bed is good; however, the area feels a bit seedy yet busy, the front desk could be friendlier, and the hallway walls are in poor condition.

The place is in a good spot and the price is fair, but we had a scare when a stranger appeared in our room mid‑night, apparently because the room was mistakenly double‑booked; the staff at reception apologized, yet it didn’t erase the shock.

The room. The heating was on, it got very hot, I had to sleep with the fan and the window open, they said they couldn't change the air‑conditioning, so I left a day early, paid for the room, and got no response from the hotel. Not recommended, I won't return and won't recommend anyone.
