Beautiful setting, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent buffet dinner and breakfast. Gorgeous pool. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Within easy driving distance of Pinhao. A few stairs to climb – we had no problem, but less mobile guests might find them difficult. We didn’t ask if there were other options for less mobile people to move between rooms and the dining room, for example.

Location, bed, café, espresso machine in the room, and service with a tasting by Filomena. The access to the rooms and restaurant involved many stairs (I was in 508 and had to climb 100 steps to reach the breakfast and dinner restaurant, and to leave the hotel as well). There were few wine options at the restaurant even though it’s in the Douro; a complimentary tasting for guests would be nice. In Vila Gale Lagos they offer a wine tasting from the vineyard in the Algarve.

Lugar incrível. Quartos muito confortáveis, espaçosos e com uma vista de tirar o fôlego. Café da manhã muito bom, além de o hotel contar com uma linda vinícola própria anexa ao complexo. Localização é ideal para quem está de veículo próprio, estando centralizado visando as principais vinícolas da região. Por fim, staffs muito atenciosos, em especial o Sr. Paulo, que nos ajudou com um problema que tive com o carro logo ao chegar ao hotel. O jantar a parte deixou um pouco a desejar. Desde a apresentação do buffet até o sabor achamos que estava muito aquém do que o hotel apresentava. Além disso a localização não é ideal para quem não está de veículo próprio, uma vez que não é possível chamar Uber e os taxis apresentam valores bem elevados para o local
