I left after just 10 minutes because the door was leaking and rain kept getting in. The beds were too short, and the room description was a lie – they said there were three separate rooms, but it was all one space. One person had to sleep almost on the toilet, two on tiny sofas, and one under the stairs.

“Inte värt det”

The location is central, but the cabin was filthy and the heating unit was too small to keep warm when the outside temperature dropped below 15 °C, making the cabin damp. I had read negative reviews before and, being experienced with boats, I brought my own sleeping bag and headlamp, hoping it wouldn’t be that bad. The main reason for my low rating was that the boat was unclean, damp, and untidy.

“Great adventure in the heart of Gothenburg”

The spot is perfect for exploring the city centre and walking tours, and the harbour-side shower and toilet were very good. It felt like an adventure and a truly different way to experience Gothenburg. If you’re not used to tight spaces, you might find the accommodation a bit restrictive. Luckily the weather was nice, so we were fine sitting up on the deck.

There was no boat at the promised spot, and the boat that was there didn’t look like the pictures. The landlord didn’t answer the phone. We ended up paying for expensive hotel nights instead.

“I would never do that again”

The location is nice, but the place is very cramped and uncomfortable. There is no running water, and the bed is extremely uncomfortable.
