Beautiful historic location, very peaceful and quiet. Bed was very comfortable, slept very well. The homemade cakes for breakfast were lovely. The place was exceptionally clean also. Overall good value for money. The breakfast is a little limited but this makes sense as there is no catering onsite. It is not a downside as it's something I was aware of in advance so that is ok. There is a local shop nearby where you can get milk and other things to keep in the hotel fridge which is convenient. I was there for a wedding so I was eating off-site mostly so it was perfect for me

The lobby is stunning, great views. Our host provided us with a video explaining how to access our room and details for the breakfast the next day
