The camera was huge, clean, quiet, with large, comfortable beds. As a four‑star hotel, it shouldn’t have a power outlet that sticks out of the wall, a soap holder, a broken towel hook, a faucet that drips badly, or a broken fridge in the bar.

The ancient castle was incredibly beautiful, and the grounds were well‑kept. The staff were very welcoming, and breakfast was excellent. We also dined at their restaurant, which we really enjoyed. The castle is in a small, pleasant village where you can stroll around. The interior rooms need cosmetic refurbishment; it didn’t bother us much, but a little “refresh” would be wonderful.

The castle’s old charm is undeniable, but the building feels worn and in need of repair, which really dampens the experience.

Une superbe chambre dans un château des environs d'Asti et d'Alessandria, et permettant de faire une étape entre Gênes et Turin. Un accueil d'une grande amabilité. Un restaurant dans une salle voutée servant un excellent dîner (pour lequel je remercie chaleureusement le personnel de cuisine). Et un excellent petit déjeuner. Bref : tout est parfait !!
