“Traditional accomodation but not friendly owner”

We stayed two nights at this traditional Korean guesthouse, which was quiet at night and had a good location, but the bed was very uncomfortable and the bathroom was poorly designed with the shower attached to the sink, making the floor wet and no mop to dry it. The owner seemed eager to collect payment immediately and was disappointed when we tried to pay by card instead of cash, and her limited English made communication difficult. I asked for a new plastic rubbish bag the next day using a translation app because the existing one was full, but she refused to provide one since rooms aren’t cleaned daily. I expected a more personal cultural experience with shared breakfast and conversation, but instead it felt like a business transaction. The peaceful atmosphere was nice, yet I’d only recommend staying one night at most.
