“Comfortable and friendly hotel in a rural area with access to its own little beach.”

It was a real refuge during the storm. Unfortunately we arrived just as a typhoon hit, but the hotel made our stay very comfortable and we even stayed an extra night. The beds were comfy, the seating on the deck and inside the hotel were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the washer/dryer on our floor and the complimentary happy‑hour drinks. They also gave us a basket of plates, knives, and forks for in‑room dining. The breakfast was very basic and focused on bread and pastries, so we had to buy a few extra items ourselves to make it more satisfying.

The rooms were huge, the jacuzzi on the balcony was huge, the staff were super helpful, and we were allowed to stay on the beach after checkout and received beach towels and shower towels.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and well presented, with stunning coastal views. The highlight was the open‑air jacuzzi on our balcony, where we watched incredible sunsets. Complimentary drinks from 3 to 7 pm were a nice touch. Breakfast choices were limited, but all high quality and enough to start the day. It’s a good base for exploring Okinawa, provided you have a car. You really need a car; there are enough restaurants nearby for a few nights, but without one you’d feel restricted and getting around the island would be hard.

“Pleasant boutique hotel, albeit secluded, private beach but not always suitable for swimming”

The rooms were roomy with large bathrooms and a jacuzzi on the balcony, but only ocean‑front rooms give a full view; the view is cut off by an industrial port on the left. Cocktail hour ran from 3‑8 pm daily. The private beach is only swimmable during high tide around 9 am. Breakfast was limited to corn soup, a few muffins, filtered coffee and juices, so we had to grab extras from a supermarket or 7‑11 about a 5‑10 min walk away. The pool was pleasant but felt small for more than one family, offering only two chaise longues. The hotel sits in a remote area; the surrounding streets were basic, dirty, and lacked local charm, which was disappointing. The property looked outdated and poorly maintained, unlike the 9/10 hotels we’d seen before. No lounge chairs were provided at the beach, and the pool could use more. We were left in our room for two days because housekeeping never asked if we wanted a different cleaning time, and we didn’t bother asking due to language barriers and awkwardness.
