The king suite was spacious, but the pool was out of order. I booked because the hotel looked nice and advertised a pool, yet the desk clerk said he couldn’t give me a discount since I booked through a third‑party site instead of directly.

The spot was convenient for Advent Shawnee Mission Hospital, and the parking was well lit. The exterior was tidy with beautiful landscaping. Check‑in went smoothly and the staff member was friendly. I had booked a King standard room online, but she upgraded me at no charge because a maintenance issue had left the standard room in disrepair, and she wanted to make sure it was fixed before another guest stayed there. The suite was very clean, the bed was perfect, and the environment was quiet for a peaceful night.
