“Cannot Recommend Enough”

I’ve stayed here several times because it’s far cheaper than central Tokyo, and you can head into the city whenever you need, while all the essentials are right in Machida. Yokohama is also nearby. The room was enormous—probably the most spacious I’ve ever found at this price. It was always clean and handled professionally. The only drawback was the “News” booklets in the rooms, which were the usual APA style.

The staff were very courteous, and there were no issues.

The place was quiet, the breakfast was good, and the facilities were solid. The only downside was the unit bath being small; a 177 cm Japanese guest feels that way, so inbound travelers will likely feel the same. The bed was too soft for me, and while I’m picky, a regular single futon would have been best.

The room itself was clean and well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay. However, the price has risen sharply compared to before, likely due to increased inbound demand, and that honestly bothers me. It’s great that foreign tourists are boosting the hotel industry, but the cost now makes it hard for domestic guests to stay casually, and that raises some doubts. Even though the hotel is nice and comfortable, the high price leaves me disappointed.

“町田駅東は普通です。”

The price was a good deal, but the breakfast offered too little food and the toilet’s washlet was broken and unusable.
