We arrived later than planned, but the welcome was warm and friendly. The rooms were fabulous, the restaurant meal was freshly cooked, breakfast was great, and the views from the breakfast room are amazing.

Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Lovely rooms with view of stunning countryside. Food was excellent. Plenty of good walks close to the hotel. Easy drive to the coast. I don’t think anything could have been better. We will definitely book again

The owners were incredibly friendly; we accidentally booked the wrong night but she still managed to accommodate us. The cuisine was genuinely Hunan rather than typical Cantonese, with a brisket of beef seasoned with star anise, cumin, lamb, and a lovely spicy cabbage accompaniment. The wine list offers great value, and breakfast was solid. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The interior feels a bit dated, yet for the price it delivers solid value.
