“Nasty proprietor's. Very unfriendly”

The room had just been remodeled, with a freshly re‑tilled bathroom, but the view from the window was frightening and the building itself was in a very poor state. The staff were rude; the man who checked me in said a few words and then barked at me about parking in the basement. I have a disability, so I parked near the office, yet another employee shouted at me to move my car to a spot behind me. When I checked out the next morning, the female employee gave me a nasty glare as I drove away.

“Only if there's nothing better”

The desk clerk was the rudest I’ve encountered in years, after staying at about 50 places worldwide, including India, Morocco, Poland, and Germany, so that was a real shock. The hotel’s “CHECK‑IN ENDS AT 10 PM” message in my app was written in all caps and yelled, which could have been handled much more politely. There was no breakfast or coffee service, and parts of the hotel were starting to break apart, even though it looked recently renovated and was otherwise clean. The walls were thin and people were loud, and there was no truck parking; the street parking around the hotel was a huge pain.

“Buena estancia. cerca de la playa y el zoológico.”

The room was very clean, we had everything we needed, the bed sheets were very clean, and towels were clean daily, but when we entered the building it looked a bit neglected and had a damp or odd smell, though that smell was not present in the room.

Walking distance to the ocean and on‑site parking were convenient, but there was no elevator.

“Gave a chance to a small hotel business, but dissapointed.”

No breakfast; the staff was so cheap that we never got extra coffee for the 4 days we stayed. They are running the place at the cheapest possible. They did not provide extra soap, shampoo, or towels. When I went to ask for more towels, because they did not leave enough towels for the guests, shampoo, and soap. I was questioned like the Inquisition. Why do these people get into the hospitality industry when they do not understand the word hospitality? They were rude, impolite, and difficult. It is not that I am staying for free. No elevator. Conveniently located in a nice area, easy to get public transportation. A parking garage; although it would be nice if they had an access reader, it looked like anybody could get in and out walking, exposing the cars to possible theft
