“Good value”

The value was great, especially the breakfast which offered a huge array of options, including cannoli and coffee, and the overall charm of the place with its balcony view in the Dolomites was very appealing.

The hotel was awesome, the room was very nice and situated in a great spot; the staff were extremely helpful and arranged bus tickets for all our hikes, while breakfast was also fantastic with a selection of cold cuts, eggs, bacon, pancakes, and a variety of baked goods, so I highly recommend it.

The breakfast was decent, parking was convenient with a dedicated underground garage and ample space, the town was quiet and restful, the hot water was comfortable, and the faucet provided good-tasting tap water. However, the restaurant staff seemed a bit stern; they would assign seating for us at breakfast and if we didn’t sit where they expected, they would look displeased, even though they didn’t understand Italian, their facial expressions and tone conveyed it. Driving to the main sights takes about 10–15 minutes, and if you’re self‑driving, you’ll need to plan for parking at the attractions, as parking in Ottisei is expensive.
