The host and the vibe feel like home, with a lovely garden to relax in. Everyone on the team is friendly and helpful, and the host is quick to answer questions and offer advice. They can set up airport transfers, which is a big plus, and they also run safaris and tours so everything’s in one spot. The beds come with mosquito nets. Our room was very basic—a family room, and there are better options available. Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day. It’s not a luxury getaway, but the overall atmosphere is pleasant.

The location is great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and met expectations. The breakfast provided was a solid basic spread. No complaints at all.

The room matched the photos exactly and was simple but sufficient, with a fridge and a hot water kettle that were handy. The outdoor areas were fantastic—well‑landscaped with plenty of comfortable spots to sit or lie down, letting us spend hours reading, enjoying the flowers, and soaking up the nice weather. The hosts and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home after just four days. A highlight was chatting with the young women in the hostel who volunteer with Sarah and Emmanuel’s Giving Hands organization, which runs a hospital, clinic, and orphanage. Their caring and friendly presence made the start of our African stay especially enjoyable.
