Location, surroundings, facilities, lounge area, restaurants and rooms. There was nothing we didn’t like, but there was a big private party on Friday, and that made it not pleasant to be in the lounge area both because of the music and the noise from the private party but also because everyone chose to leave all main doors open, so it was very cold and not comfortable to sit in the common areas.

The view over the mountain range was picturesque and the historic charm was obvious, but the restaurant failed to live up to expectations: it was pricey, offered limited options, and the food quality was poor with a disorganised staff and long waits even after a reservation. The property is huge yet offers very little variety in dining, risking guests going hungry. Breakfast was a buffet that was fairly varied but not well stocked, with disorganised staff and a steep price of 91,45$ for a couple. Hot drinks were available only until 18:00 at the coffee bar, after which only a pub remained. There were also issues with a double booking on their end, and overall the value for money was low.

That you don’t need to leave the property, everything is right there. No good coffee places or good coffee in the room or lobby
