“Wunderschönes Hotel mit Luft nach oben”

The resort was beautiful on a well‑maintained, safe beach with two pools, and the animation team was understated, which felt pleasant. The gardeners were very friendly and even showed guests the chameleons on the grounds. Breakfast was okay but not very varied. The front desk and the chef greeted rarely, which felt less warm than other hotels in Madagascar. The request for a later check‑out caused confusion and an early call. The hotel targets all‑inclusive guests, mostly from Poland, so as a breakfast‑only guest we sometimes overwhelmed the staff. The snack selection was quite limited, especially without all‑inclusive. Overall a nice resort with minor service differences and limited food choices. The gym, especially the treadmills, was quite old.

The staff were very attentive and welcoming, and the hotel managers were the same.

A nice property, well equipped, well maintained and clean. The only downside, in my view, is that for a hotel of this level (and price) one might expect international brand soft drinks that are very fresh. I do not drink alcohol.

Thanks to Andréa and the whole Royal Beach team for their warm welcome and kindness; everyone is always smiling and attentive, and the hotel is situated in a truly idyllic setting, making for a pleasant stay.

We had a magical week in paradise, with wonderful people, manager Alexander, and chef Andréa Petri, all eager to ensure we had a great time; the beach is stunning, the pools beautiful, the food plentiful and good, and the central location is close to shops and restaurants—everything was perfect, and two large turtles even walked through the garden, making it hard to leave; we will definitely return. It would be nice to add more facilities to the gym.
