The room was roomy, airy and flooded with natural light, and a Lidl was just a stone’s throw away, which was handy. Walking to the city centre was a breeze. The bathroom felt a bit dated and the step up to the shower was too high, and reception staff weren’t around all the time.

A completely normal and ordinary hotel a short walk from the centre, perfect for a one‑night work stay. I arrived around midnight and arranged key hand‑over via a lockbox, which worked out well for me. The décor was very austere, but it was clean and hassle‑free.

The hotel’s location is fine. The external signage, with a single “b” on the façade, could only be fancifully linked to the name Best Garni Hotel.
