“Une maison au top, qui sait accueillir”

The location was great. The size of the spaces (room, bathroom, kitchen, living room, etc.) was fantastic. There’s a free washing machine, and the Wi‑Fi worked pretty well! The doors have codes, which makes the key system easy. It was a real pleasure, feeling at home. In the bathrooms, there was no soap or hand towels… a bit disappointing, but still okay. The light in the room hardly illuminated anything, and there were no hooks to hang our clothes and stuff.

The location is good and the staff are very friendly. There’s a large common living area, and the value for money is solid. The mattress isn’t very comfortable, the bathroom lacks ventilation, and the room lighting is awful.

“Hebergement au top!”

The house feels very pleasant, quiet, spacious, and the room is pretty and clean. Even though we share the place with others, there’s everything needed to stay relaxed and private. The welcome was great, and the house offers all the conveniences for short or long stays: washing machine, shower gel, towels, cooking supplies, a fridge in my room, AC… The location is also excellent, and the nearby restaurant is great, letting you go out without a car. The tourist lagoon with its rays, sharks, and water activities is just 2 min by car—royal! One night, our neighboring guests played loud music until 4 a.m., which was annoying, though we were tolerant because they were young and wanted to have fun. If you’re looking to party with friends, a non‑shared pension might be better to avoid disturbing others. Otherwise, nothing else to say; these are the quirks you might find in this type of pension. Unless there’s a clear rule that noise is forbidden after a certain hour, I think it’s just about mutual respect.

The common area and kitchen have a filtered water tap, a washing machine, dryer, and an ice machine for drinks. The downside is that all rooms share one bathroom. The room was far too small for two people, let alone three. Relying on internet tech completely fails when there’s no phone signal or battery, and you can’t get in. You depend on others being nearby or borrowing a phone. There’s absolutely no guidance on the island—no info on where to go, how to reach the beach, where the shops are—this was the only place we visited on several islands that offered no information. You arrive, press some buttons to unlock, and are left to yourself. It feels like you’re just a cash cow, not a guest. Car hire is required, as the shops are far and walking at night is risky.
