The atmosphere was calming and the staff went above and beyond with their hospitality, even when we requested special accommodations; their constantly smiling faces and professional interactions made us feel right at home. The large swimming pool was ideal for beginners. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! On the downside, I struggled to open and close the door, the interior could use an upgrade while preserving its quirky charm, and a mosquito net would be helpful because the bathroom is open (which is a great idea). The photos showed a rice‑garden view, but my villa was actually across the road—more accurate photos would be appreciated.

A charming hotel right in the heart of Ubud’s rice fields. Our villa, in typical Ubud style, was very comfortable and had two rooms, each with an outdoor bathroom. It also had a lovely private pool. The hotel also featured a nice communal pool in the middle of the rice fields… A charming address in Ubud! We’ll gladly return on a future trip. The food and breakfast were good but not exceptional, especially considering the quality and standing of the establishment.
