“Cozy cabin with everything you need in a lovely & lively environment”

This was our favorite of the five places we stayed at; it surpassed our expectations. The cabin was the right size and had everything needed: kitchenette, fridge, and private bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable. A lot of geese roamed around, which was a lovely sight; one day an entire swarm flew by, so many they resembled locusts, lol. Horse farms surrounded the area, so you could see them up close if lucky. I loved the surroundings overall—you could stroll around the farms and watch the geese by the river. Unfortunately, one night of our stay fell during the big storm of October 2026, so we couldn’t go out much, but it was atmospheric to hear the wind whistling around the cabin. I’m not sure what’s up with Hella, but we got clear skies on both nights even though the country was supposed to be cloudy, and you could see the aurora from the small window above the beds—no need to leave the cabin. The host was also lovely.

The cottage was comfortable, the apartment was well organized, it had an espresso machine, smart TV, heat‑pump air conditioning, a comfy bed, and a spacious, clean bathroom. Signage and directions could be improved, exterior lighting was inadequate, and there was a lack of order in the back of the outdoor area.

Quiet. Small but had everything you need for a short stay. The key locker didn’t work under the best conditions.
