The room was relatively clean after recent cosmetic work, had hot water, a kettle, glasses, shampoo, and shower gel dispensers, yet the bedding was not clean enough, with a scorched sheet and poorly laundered linens; smoking in the rooms left a tobacco odor, there were no slippers or dental kit, the front desk had no administrator when I arrived causing check‑in problems, the booking promised a bottle of champagne which the hotel denied, citing no such promise on the booking, the front desk lacked a computer and kept records in a notebook, I paid cash and they recorded it in the notebook without issuing a receipt, and they failed to mark my check‑in on the booking, resulting in the cancellation of my booking on that hotel.

The location and room maintenance were good, but staff were not always present, especially in the morning and night, forcing me to call for assistance; many booking benefits such as a free champagne bottle and late check‑out were not honored by the hotel staff.
