The location is great and the place was clean. The breakfast only had packaged cookies and croissants, no fresh pastries or cakes. We paid extra for breakfast. The shower only had cold water, but after complaining we were able to change rooms (two nights stay).

The location is excellent near the center. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a bit old for the price. The rooms are old.

The place is 2 km from the highway and the Swiss border near Lake Como. The restaurant is open 7/7, and the Lidl parking is just across the street. The hotel is invisible from the road, it’s a pizzeria, and the reception is inside the restaurant. The décor, furniture and switches are from the 70s. The corridor is poorly lit. The shower is small 60x60. The breakfast is minimalistic (but the price is also low): no buffet, no eggs, no cured meats, no cheese. No bread either, only pre‑packed biscotti and biscuits. The coffee and croissant are good.

“Small, nice hotel with nice people. Great price / performance.”

Breakfast was very simple but a fresh croissant every day and a good cup of coffee. I’m not a breakfast person, so I didn’t ask for more, but I’m sure the owners would offer more if you asked. The people were amazingly friendly. I had a small “hot water issue” but it was solved immediately. The location was marvelous for me (3 min walk to my target every day). My room had two balconies, one reached from my room, and the other from my bath :( That was quietly surprising because the door was big and without blinds.

Quiet area, courteous staff. It’s absolutely not worth the price paid for the overnight stay. The building is old, the bathroom is dusty and ruined, and breakfast is nonexistent.
