The location and staff welcome were good, but the room was poorly sound‑proofed and the breakfast was quite pricey.

“Service et réception à revoir !!”

The location was convenient, between the station and the old town. The single room was cramped, and you had to climb into bed from the bottom because it was wedged between the wall and the window. Check‑in took 45 minutes. The hotel door was already locked at 21:30, even though I was told the reception closed at 23:00, so I could only get in thanks to a couple leaving the hotel. I was able to leave my luggage on the day of departure, but despite the assurance that someone would be at reception around 15–16 h, no one was there and the door was closed. Again, I could only retrieve my bag thanks to a housekeeper finishing her shift who had pity on me; she had to search for my bag, which wasn’t at reception but somewhere in the basement… I almost missed my train.

A central, quiet city hotel that is clean, straightforward, and has friendly staff. Everything was fine.

“Sehr gut für Kurzurlaub, gutes Preisleitungsverhältnis.”

The location is good, and the room size is enough for a short stay. The breakfast is simple, and having an air‑conditioned room in summer 2026 is a plus. The location and the food in Sion are excellent.
