The food was good and the view from the room was awesome. The desserts were very low quality, with single pieces wrapped individually that screamed not fresh, and the apple pie had a funny taste.

The location by the lake is great and the room offers a nice view; a crib is available for babies, rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly.

The lodge feels like a modern rustic retreat, capturing that genuine woods vibe while offering every comfort you could ask for. The meals—both dinner and breakfast—were tasty, giving a solid start before heading out to the Boundary Waters. The staff were friendly, and the lake view was impressive. They even have a dock where you can rent boats or hop on paddle bicycles, which is a real highlight. Inside, the pool and hot tub area are nice, and the pillows and beds are super comfy. I’ll definitely return.
