The spot is solid, the building’s vibe is nice with its landscaping and art‑deco touches, and the rooftop terrace is a perk. The room was okay size-wise, but the bathroom felt cramped. The staff were friendly, yet the service lagged to almost nothing—no phone worked in the room, so I had to go back to the front desk for an iron and it took hours to arrive. On the second day there was no room service; when we got back late we just asked for fresh towels. Because the phone stayed broken, I had to call the front desk from my cell. Breakfast was mediocre at best, with greasy bacon and a hash‑brown patty that reminded me of a fast‑food place. A few tweaks could make this hotel great.

The location is great with direct beach access, the place is very clean, and the staff is helpful—Sofia and Jimmy were particularly useful. The first room had a very dirty rug and the bathroom smelled of sewage; I asked for a room change and they complied. The pool is lovely but small, and when I arrived two kids were already playing in it; it should be kids‑free.
