Goldener Engel Pension, a family‑run guest house in Görlitz’s historic centre, offers traditional rooms with wooden furniture, private bathrooms and TVs. Free Wi‑Fi, bicycle/motorbike storage, and €2/day parking are provided. Breakfast is served in a rustic lounge. Within five minutes’ walk are the city park, Peterskirche, Neiße River, Polish border and restaurants. Train station 2 km away; A4 motorway six‑minute drive.

I stayed in a bright and cozy room right in the city center, which made everything convenient.

We were the second time staying here with six people. We liked that we could check in earlier. The reception was friendly and the rooms were beautiful. Overall we had a great stay and everything is walkable. Thanks and see you next time. The breakfast is currently not offered by the inn but by the steakhouse downstairs, which was not great—many dishes, especially the salads, were bad. For €12 you can probably find something better in Görlitz.
