“Pretty Basic Bit It Works”
A cozy hotel tucked in the Makati suburbs surrounded by residential houses, pretty affordable compared to those on busy streets. If you’re looking for a simple room to rest, it’s fine. It’s reasonably priced, nothing fancy, no Netflix subscription or working cable, but it has adequate space and facilities. There’s a fridge, hair dryer, and kettle for convenience, and although there were no complimentary bottled water, there’s a refilling station in the hallway. The hot shower works just fine and the air‑con, while a bit noisy, works just right. Breakfast was mainly basics—scrambled eggs and a few stir‑fried items that change a little later. That could be convenient since there are only a few carinderias around. There’s a small gym if you want to lift weights and a pool on the roof deck, though I didn’t use those. I was a little confused to find out there’s a security deposit even after paying in advance and securing the room. I don’t know if it’s the same for all rooms, but I had to pay 2 k upfront. I’ve never seen that in any other hotels I’ve stayed at. I guess they’re just making sure you come back. It was returned to me after check‑out.
