We stayed in a room with air conditioning that was really nice and super quiet thanks to good soundproofing. The lounge area was pleasant. We arrived late, sent a message, and got a key from a box. After checking out, they let us leave our bag so we could wander around Naples before catching our train.

“This is not a hotel, but a few rooms of an apartment building located in a very bad environment.”

The room was renovated and clean. We never saw any staff except the receptionist, who was blunt and aggressive. He was never at his desk, and we were frustrated a full ten days before arrival when we finally found out exactly when we would be at the hotel. The hotel sits close to the strict city center, but the surrounding area is awful.

“Thari was essential to providing a positive experience. Room was very nice and soundproof.”

The highlight was Thari, who is probably the manager and speaks multiple languages; after three weeks in beautiful 4‑star hotels across Italy, I’ve never met someone more dedicated to customer service. The location was perfect for catching the fast ferry to Capri, and we were lucky to have Thari drive us from the train station to the property, otherwise we wouldn’t have entered because the exterior looked terrible. Neocore has a section on the second floor where rooms are safely tucked away.
