I stood outside their door sending messages and still got no response. On that day, other hotels in Rome were three times more expensive, over 300 euros. I couldn’t pay with MasterCard at your place, so I had to use a Visa debit card to get through, and you still insisted on charging me. I spent 2000 dollars buying a new ticket just to arrive in Rome two hours before my flight, and this is the treatment I got? I even spoke English to you—what’s the point of all this?

The bed and room are decent. The breakfast is nonexistent—paying for it gives you a tray in the room with industrial pasta, a packet of cookies, a bottle of milk, and four coffee capsules, which felt like a scam. Communication with the hotel staff is practically nonexistent; they don’t answer questions. I had to wait a long time on the street to get into the room, and you must bring cash because there’s no card reader, so for the price there’s a lot to be disappointed about. On top of that, the shower is awful; it only sprays a trickle of water, making it hard to shower, and the sink tiles are somewhat broken.
