The hotel is well placed in a small street away from the main avenues; my room faced the courtyard and was very quiet (though some rooms face the street, so ask for a courtyard room if you’re sensitive to noise). The room was pleasant but quite small, lacking a small desk. The breakfast buffet was good quality with fresh bread. The price was a bit high for the room size, and the Wi‑Fi wasn’t very reliable.

The stay was fine overall, but the room was on the second floor, making it hard for us to climb the stairs. At check‑in it would have helped if they’d mentioned there was no elevator; we’d have asked for a ground‑floor room.

We liked the location, but we booked parking because we chose the hotel for its private, gated parking, only to find the gates broken when we arrived, forcing us to hunt for parking elsewhere. There was no elevator, and the second floor had steep stairs that we were lucky to be helped up and down with our luggage.
