The location and departure point were perfect for the price, and it was a nice change from the usual hotels. Naturally the cabin was cramped, especially in summer when it was probably very warm; the climate was lacking. The staff were okay, and breakfast was somewhat tedious because the space was too small when everyone ate at the same time.

The location was fairly good with a decent view, but the staff were not very helpful: after reporting a broken fridge on the first day, I had to ask each day, and they said they could use their fridge, yet I didn’t want to keep going to reception for every fridge request; the staff seemed indifferent and did nothing about the fridge, which was a small tabletop unit that could have been swapped easily. Breakfast was okay but repetitive, almost identical for all five days at the Fortuna Boat Hotel; the room was a good size with direct deck access but looked very tired.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good.

The views were nice. The cleaning was terrible; the room was full of spiders. I reported this on the first day and they said they would do special cleaning, but after three days I complained about the spiders every day, and when I left the same spider webs were still there and nothing was cleaned.
