The location was spot‑on and the hotel satisfied all our needs, from the 4‑bed layout to the comfy beds, clean bathroom and shower. I loved the MacLeod tartan drapes and the proximity to two Harris Tweed shops. We only had a day on the island, so the excellent accommodations were appreciated.

The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, tasty, with a cold bar and a range of cooked dishes. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also great. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was big enough for two, had a sitting chair, and provided coffee and tea. We did have to haul luggage up a flight of stairs to reach the room, but that’s normal for the area.

The staff were welcoming, friendly yet professional throughout, the bedroom and public areas were comfortable and well maintained, breakfasts were superb and dinners excellent, but my friend found the single bed a bit short.
