I booked on short notice because of a typhoon. The staff who helped me were kind, which was a plus. Whether they were the owner’s friends or just local chatter, there was something comforting about the lively vibe. I couldn’t tell who was staying, who was staff, or what. On the day I stayed, it seemed a new guest‑house staff had come, and there were many people in the kitchen and living room, making it noisy until night. I had no choice but to stay in my room. The room had a strange smell and was eaten by dust mites in several spots.

スタッフの距離感、ほどほどに気にしてくれてくれること. 仕切りが薄く声など筒抜けになること(11時半消灯以降は静かでした)

鍵などの施錠がなく（希望すれば個室は鍵をかけられます）ものすごい自由度で、昔の親戚の家に行ったようで気を遣わずに滞在できました。共用部分の掃除はきちんとしておられます。歩いて10分圏内に夜遅くまでやっている大型スーパーやコンビニ、飲食店があるので便利です。ずっと結構な雨降りだったので残念ながら今回は行きませんでしたが、海までも歩いていけます。私が宿泊したときは梅雨ということもあってか宿泊者が多くなかったので、昼も夜も静かに過ごせました。. ドミの方はどうかわかりませんが、個室は滞在中必要であれば自分で清掃する感じのようだったので、慣れていない人だと戸惑うかもしれません。この宿というより与那原町は公共交通機関を使っての移動はかなり不便なので、近所の散策しかしない人以外は短期滞在ならレンタカーを空港で借りていく方が良いかなと思いました。

It felt like home and exactly what I needed. It was a bit out of the way and public transport isn’t the best!
