We had to leave in the middle of the night. From the moment we booked half‑board, they only informed us after payment that dinner would be unavailable due to an event, offering lunch the next day without apologising or asking if that worked for us. We went to the hotel and, after staying out that evening to avoid the event, found water barrels outside the room when we returned, with no explanation. Inside, the water was missing. We called the owners, who were annoyed and told us they were busy with the event and that we could wash ourselves with the barrels, again without an apology. We requested a refund, which only happened after we called the police. Their final remark was “the usual Neapolitans.” We’ve never met such rude people. Close the place if you can’t manage it.

“Vraiment parfait”

The kindness and welcome from Roberto and Paola, who answer every request, were great. Dominga was also very friendly, serving meals with a superb smile and always a kind word. They explained some tours you can take, and the place is close to Agropoli and Paestum. A bit farther out you can visit the Castelcivita caves and the mountain village of the same name.

“Experiência ruim”

The location was good. We chose the option that included coffee and dinner and paid for it. Upon arrival, we were told the ingredients were fresh and mostly produced on site or in the community, yet we were served an old eggplant parmigiana that even tasted fishy. The food wasn’t made on the spot, and if you want an appetizer or dessert you have to pay extra. Breakfast had industrially packaged biscuits, jam, and toast; there was no fresh Italian bread, no juice, no cheese or ham. We asked for butter and bread, but they served stale bread. When we raised our concerns about dinner and breakfast, they said it was from the previous day and that we should have requested it. The property needs repairs: the beds are small and my husband’s feet were out of the bed because the beds are wall‑mounted to save space. The box curtain was dirty, the sink had limescale, and we didn’t have any more meals on site. There are many great options on the way back. We’ve been traveling for 50 days, and this was the worst choice.

The view is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the dinners are cozy. I recommend a car.

I ate the dinners, everything was really good, classic Cilentan food. The rooms had small details that could be improved, and the common areas were a bit lacking.
