The playroom in the basement needed a lot of love; my 3‑year‑old son almost got seriously hurt on a slide that wasn’t even secured. Aside from that, it was a fun place for the kids to hang out.

Great location with nature right on the doorstep. The large hotel accommodated many guests without feeling cramped, and the lobby and bistro were nice. It was ideal for families with kids of various ages and allowed pets. I thought I had booked a pet room, but that turned out to be a mistake; the staff fixed it and charged 500 kr for two nights, which I still appreciate. The room, however, was quite worn and did not match the high standard of the room we booked in April.

Breakfast was very good with a wide selection. It would have been better if the food we ordered arrived at the same time.
