“It wasnt the greatest. I probably won't stay there again.”

There was no breakfast, but the only thing I liked was the nice spa tub in my second room. My first room was room 3 and the tub drain wouldn’t hold water for a bath; the hot water never rose above lukewarm. The shower curtain smelled awful, the floor was gritty, the AC was dusty, and I found hair between my sheets after pulling the sheet down. I told the front desk and they moved me to room 1, which was warm and the heat‑pump AC wouldn’t turn on. I took a bath in the spa, and after walking to the bed, then the bathroom, and back to the bed my feet were black. There was only half a roll of toilet paper in my room and none elsewhere. Spilled toothpaste on the sink cupboards hadn’t been cleaned off, and the refrigerator made a very noisy, almost service‑required sound when it turned on.

“A surprisingly great value from an inexpensive motel!”

We ended up with a free upgrade to a small cabin, which was a pleasant surprise given we only expected a quiet, reasonably clean motel. The cabin had a kitchen and plenty of space, and there was a nearby link to a greenway trail that was lovely. The bathroom floor was a bit muddy, and the cabins could use mats inside the entrance to handle gravel from outside.

The property sits in a good spot, but a dust rag was left on the bed when we arrived, all linens were stained, there was no hot water, and the room was very dark with only one corner light.

Checking in was straightforward, the place was quiet and cheaper than staying in OOB, though it felt a bit outdated, it was still well maintained.
