“Gott sei Dank brauchten wir in dieser Horrorpension nicht übernachten.”

Nothing! At arrival the pension was locked; no response to knocking or calls. The whole area around the pension looked extremely run down, neglected, and dirty after a half‑hour wait. We had to find an alternative accommodation online, and just as we paid for it with no cancellation option, a completely shabby man appeared, half‑clothed, with tattered clothes and exposed underwear, staring at us stupidly. No introduction, no apology, and when we said we had just booked elsewhere, the unprofessional reply was essentially “you’re welcome to leave.”

“Katastrophe”

The rooms were sometimes furnished. Two of the three rooms had no wardrobe, shower towels were not laid out, and the communal kitchen’s location was unclear. We started cleaning the room before the owner had even left. The bungalow advertised early check‑in and late check‑out, yet we were told the previous day that it wouldn’t be ready until 18:00. The owner apparently lives under one of the rooms and watches TV loudly. Overall, it was a catastrophic experience. The bungalow had five or six beds and felt more like a youth hostel. The manager didn’t bother to explain anything. In room 1 a power strip was patched with tape; in room 2 water leaked from the toilet pipe; in room 3 a fan was hidden under the sink with a loose electrical cord. Parking was lit by floodlights, but when the lights went out you were left in the dark.

The location is great, the place is fun, and there's plenty of space.

Because I have many allergies, it’s always best when I can cook for myself. The large, cozy communal kitchen with two cooktops, a microwave, a big fridge with freezer, all the utensils, and dishes was perfect. The spot is very quiet and picturesque. The hosts are very friendly.
