Royal Hotel Singleton

“Not for us, but maybe for others”

I should preface with, it was a last minute booking, and there are 3 parts to the accommodation- the hotel, the motel & rooms in the bar courtyard. There's no way to tell when booking what it is. The woman at the bar for check in was exceptional, fixed the problems (fuse box) quickly and with a smile. When I clearly didn't want to walk through the very loud drunks she walked me through. This isn't the right type of property for me and my child. The room was old wear and tear was evident, from cupboards to carpet but the linen was all clean. Can't comment on location it was 1 night and we weren't there for Singleton. I thought it was expensive for what it was. When the guys next door got up in the morning to go, them going up and down the stairs made the room vibrate. I should have taken closer photos for the review

We’ve stayed here many times; the rooms at the back are the best because the ones above the pub can be noisy with a lot of passing traffic. It’s a pub room, so don’t expect much more, but it serves its purpose. The pub is nice and the food is great. Nothing else, it’s cheap, cheerful, and good value.

The staff and meals are exceptional. The rooms are typical pub‑style rooms but they’re clean. My wife and I stay there when we’re traveling to break up the trip. It’s great to pull up, grab a couple of drinks and a very nice meal, then head to bed. This is a pub with clean pub‑style rooms; don’t expect to be staying at the Grand Ritz, that’s not what it is.

“Great value, comfortable room.”

Large comfortable room, with double bed in a separate room. Hot water in shower was great. There was 1 undercover parking spot for the car. The food at the pub was great. There wasn't a container in the shower for soap
