The hotel is located right by the lake, and the staff are incredibly friendly and full of humor. They provide luggage assistance to your room, and both breakfast and dinner are wonderfully rich and delicious. Parking is also super convenient.

We stayed in a room with a lake and mountain view, so every morning felt fantastic. The hotel is a great base for hiking trips right from the property, and also works well as a starting point for car excursions. We did a photo expedition around Tre Cime, so the location was perfect – we reached the parking lot on top in about 20 minutes. Breakfast and the three‑course dinner were flawless. The only downside was the timing of the three‑course dinner; it stretched out, the longest taking over 90 minutes. That usually isn’t a problem, but after a full day of walking and wanting to head out for nighttime photography, we just wanted a quick bite and to go to bed.

The area is spectacular, right in front of the lake and very peaceful. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is quite complete. We were in low season and there might not be many nearby open businesses; everything is by car, so keep that in mind.
