The staff were friendly, clean, and nice. There is no lift to the top floor, so the room on that floor is only accessible by stairs. The shower room has no door, just a curtain, and the space is very small, which doesn’t match the room’s décor. The TV remote was broken, so the TV couldn’t be used. Breakfast was plentiful but bland.

We had a lovely two‑night stay. Janet was very welcoming, the room was spotless, the bed sheets were clean and smelled wonderful, and the towels were nice. Breakfast was beautiful too. Thanks again; we’ll definitely return. Everything was spot on.

The landlady was an absolute diamond, but the room is not spacious and needs updating. There is no bedside cabinet, the window doesn’t close properly, and it’s generally too small for what is classified as a Double room.
