The breakfast was more than enough, and from the hotel you can walk to Templin along the beautiful city lake, with good bike paths and a regular bus service. The area around the hotel is gorgeous. However, it seemed like the property might not be kept up to date due to limited finances, as a stale smell lingered in the hallway and bathroom. The rooms are very drafty, so you can hear dog barking or a neighbor coughing hard. The menu was missing a daily recommendation of fresh fish or vegetables. We were especially disappointed that the holiday houses behind the hotel are no longer maintained, even though they were once built to a high standard. Of course, if there aren’t enough guests… it’s a real shame.

We only stayed for one night on a motorcycle, but it was great. The bike has a covered parking spot, and every request was fulfilled, even getting ice cubes to cool down.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We found an excellent breakfast buffet, and the evening meals at the restaurant were also very tasty. Our room was very clean and very spacious. The hotel’s lakeside location is dreamy. Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit dated, but you only notice that on a second glance. We still felt very comfortable and will gladly return.
