The facilities are modern, the room is clean and in good condition with a hot shower that has good pressure, a comfy bed, a shared fridge, and a water fountain. The staff speak English. However, it’s about a 20‑minute walk to the centre, public transport isn’t great, and breakfast isn’t included (other places with similar price and features do offer it).

When we checked in we weren’t given a key because they couldn’t find it; we were told to lock ourselves in and that they’d bring the key later. In the morning we still had no key and couldn’t leave the room, so we asked them to resolve it within five minutes or give us a new room since we were stuck for the day. They eventually changed the lock. We also had a minor issue with room cleaning: we didn’t have a sign to put on our door, and when we told reception they said it was fine and that our room would be cleaned the next day. This conversation happened twice on separate days, but our room was still never cleaned.

“Great value for a short stay.”

The value for money was great, and it was within walking distance of the city centre. We liked the amenities in the private double room. I might have misread the booking, thinking payment was available in USD, so we weren’t ready for that.

One of the best budget hotels in Bishkek, Inter is perfect if you need an affordable single room close to the center—though it’s not a luxury spot, the price is still far lower than pricier options. We’ve stayed here before, and the hotel sits just a ten‑minute walk from the Philharmonic and Chui Avenue on the quiet Turusbekova Street, making city strolls convenient. Rooms are small, but that’s fine for a quick overnight stay. Last time the breakfast didn’t hit the mark, so this time I opted for a room without breakfast; there are plenty of great eateries nearby.
