“Cheating the customer with ITC name providing 2* standard facilities.”
It looks like the customer is being cheated with the ITC name by offering the facilities and service of a substandard 2* hotel; the room size, quality, breakfast, staff, parking, all seemed very uncomfortable for the premium price we paid. The coffee machine was broken for a week and no one bothered to repair it, instead they provided Rs 2 instant coffee pouches. The rooms were small, the bathroom even smaller, and there was only one combined shower gel+shampoo of poor quality. The breakfast menu was decent but nothing seemed fresh. We expected decent ITC standard but were completely let down by the overall standard. The cost of the room in a place like Manipal is 15k per room, which would normally mean a 5* hotel, but it felt like a 2*.
