“GREAT STAFF! GREAT LOCATION!”

I spent a couple of weeks at Zia Hotel Kuta and had a really good experience. The rooms were very nice with central air, and someone was always at the front desk greeting you with a smile. The Wi‑Fi was fine for everyday use. The pool was the highlight: warm, clean, with six loungers, a couch, and even a sunset viewing deck. The gym had brand‑new equipment that worked well, plus free weights. Each floor had two water refill jugs, which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, and that alone makes it easy to recommend. Breakfast was OK and cost 70,000 IDR at the time of this review; I would have liked it more if the items were replenished more often. There’s also a great restaurant called Warung 35 just a short walk from the hotel with great food made to order, and the beach is only a six‑minute walk away.

“Unsafe experience. Still awaiting refund, but hotel aren’t responsive to Booking.com.”

The room was nice and the staff were friendly. On the third day of my stay, I had a terrifying experience: a man who was part of a group at the hotel intimidated, sexualised, and followed me. I had to check out immediately for my safety and the hotel manager escorted me to my next hotel. They apologized for what happened and advised me to contact them for a refund, but they are not responding to ensure me my refund.

“Will comeback again”

I liked how snug and tidy the room was, and the rooftop pool was a nice touch. The corridor area could use a bit of upkeep.
