City Star Lodge, located in Kangaroo Point, offers a peaceful yet convenient setting, just 2 km from Brisbane CBD. This modern motel features an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi, and a communal kitchen. Air-conditioned rooms come with TVs, mini fridges, and tea/coffee facilities. The lodge faces a park and is near the Gabba, riverside walk, CityCat services, and city buses.

The staff were great. We mentioned the first room was near the road and a bit noisy, so we were moved to a quieter room the next day. However, there was no daily basic housekeeping: bins weren’t emptied, beds weren’t made, and milk and coffee weren’t topped up.

The City Star Lodge’s location was perfect for our needs. Our room was very clean, tidy, and well equipped with comfy beds. All was good.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, the room was clean and modern with everything I needed, and most importantly the bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure! It is situated walking distance to quite a few shops so I was able to go and get some snacks and drinks, there were some pubs nearby and plenty of restaraunt options :) also walking distance to kangaroo Point lookout which was a beautiful view!. I can't think of anything, I only wish I had time to hop in the pool - maybe next time!
